How to use several versions of one component in the same ASCET model?

After some years of development we have several versions of software components and even generations of sofware products. We want to be able to compare multiple versions of a component in 1 model. But as soon as you copy a component into the model, the currently existing component gets overwritten. In this article, Steffen Roser (Support Engineer at ETAS), provides the steps to accomplish this task.
