Displaying and understanding complex ECU functions with the ETAS EHANDBOOK
One of the main tools that calibration engineers have is the documentation of ECU functions. When searching for faults in calibration, plausibility checks must be repeatedly carried out on the measurement values of function variables – known as labels – using this software documentation. In the function sheet, the block diagrams from the graphical programming are only available as screenshots of individual model hierarchies and are also spread over many pages. To make matters worse, the labels to be investigated have to be laboriously added to the experiment one at a time. This makes troubleshooting very cumbersome, complicated, and time-consuming.
