ETAS at escar 2024
Expert Talks and Workshop on Automotive Cybersecurity
ETAS will showcase future-oriented cybersecurity strategies for the automotive industry, focusing on prioritizing vulnerabilities, automating testing processes, and connecting security domains
We’re excited to be part of the escar conference in Dortmund on November 19 and 20, 2024, with a comprehensive program. In addition to a dedicated workshop, we’ll be presenting four engaging expert talks. You can also explore more topics at our booth.
A key highlight will be the workshop “Efficient Vulnerability Management in the Automotive Industry,” led by Wolfram Gottschlich and Thomas Haslbauer from ETAS, along with Márton Illes from ONEKEY. This workshop will introduce strategies and methods for efficiently identifying and managing vulnerabilities in automotive cybersecurity—a growing concern as vehicle connectivity increases. Register here to join!
Our talks will cover a wide range of current cybersecurity topics:
„Eclipse openDuT: The new Glue for Automating Cybersecurity Testing in Automotive“
Thomas Irmscher (ETAS) and Reimar Stier (Mercedes Benz Tech Innovation GmbH) will introduce Eclipse openDuT, an open-source solution designed to support automated security testing processes in the automotive sector.
„Enabling efficient Intrusion Detection by standardizing Security Events in AUTOSAR“
Nicolas Loza will present a method on standardizing security events within AUTOSAR, improving the efficiency of intrusion detection systems (IDS) in modern vehicles.
„Automotive Cross Domain Security“
Tobias Klein will explore the requirements and respective solutions for implementing security mechanisms across different vehicle domains.
„Effective Vulnerability Prioritization with Automotive TARAs“
Moritz Minzlaff (ETAS) and Florian Lukavsky (ONEKEY) will explain how Automotive Threat Assessment and Remediation Analysis (TARA) can be used to prioritize vulnerabilities and optimize security strategies in vehicles.
During the breaks, we invite you to visit our booth! Stop by to discuss your automotive cybersecurity concerns with our experts. You’re also welcome to schedule one-on-one meetings with our specialists in advance.
