RTA Consulting Services to support research and development projects
The RTA Consulting Services team consists of a global network of consultants with many years’ experience of series development and research projects in the areas of embedded systems and software engineering, functional safety and process improvement. These consultants are on-hand to provide services independent from ETAS’ product portfolio and ranging from technical concept development and project management through to training, coaching, process development and organizational change management. All projects are conceived and tracked with a clear focus on maximizing value to the customer in terms of delivered efficiency and quality benefits.
As well as fully supporting today’s standards such as AUTOSAR, ETAS is actively developing the embedded software technologies required to support the next generation of embedded systems. RTA Consulting Services works closely with leading academic research centers as well as industrial partners in a number of research and pre-development projects.

- AUTOSAR: training, BSW integration, migration support, standard extensions including prototyping, and safety
- Functional safety: gap analysis for ISO 26262, safety concepts, FOTA safety concept, tool classification, and tool qualification
- Advanced development projects: embedded hypervisor, new gateway concepts, parallel updating concepts for FOTA (Firmware updates over the air)
