Allowing you to fully concentrate on developing innovations and effectively achieving your goals.

The benefits

  • Radical increase in efficiency in development through coordinated tools and a high level of automation

  • Reduce costs through early and extensive testing

  • Improve collaboration across company boundaries by standardizing development processes

  • Rapid availability of development environments

  • Scalable to your needs

Get started with a free demo right away

Here, you have a comprehensive development environment for AUTOSAR Classic ECUs available on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.

In this demo, you can engage in model-based development, testing, and interactive documentation of vehicle applications using the AUTOSAR Classic architecture.

How do I get started?

  • You can access the demo at the following link: https://github.com/aws-samples/automotive-software-developer-workbench
  • In order to  use the demo for free for one month, registration for the ETAS tools is required. You can register with the following link: etas.com/cdw/registration
  • The CDK and Python based Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) demo is released as an open source. If you have an AWS account, you can reproduce them any way you choose.
  • Once registration and validation is complete, you can use the AMI Image Factory to create a custom virtual desktop and run it on an AWS EC2 instance.
  • An already existing, predefined model for cruise control will make it easier for you to get started.
  • In addition, you receive preconfigured and high-performance Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) tests and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) pipelines, which are available immediately after setting up the infrastructure.

Which tools can I work with?

  • ETAS ASCET-DEVELOPER is a professional development tool that can be used to model functions and generate C code based on graphic models and text-based programming notations. ETAS ASCET-DEVELOPER allows you to efficiently develop high-performance, easy-to-maintain, secure application software for embedded systems.
  • ETAS EHANDBOOK is an award-winning solution that combines multiple document files from different development sources into an easy-to-use, interactive format. ETAS EHANDBOOK saves you valuable time by understanding complex ECU applications faster.
  • ETAS VECU-BUILDER is a tool for the generation of virtual ECUs as FMU for the verification and validation of automotive microcontroller software in Software-in-Loop (SIL) setups. ETAS VECU-Builder allows you to generate stand-alone, executable virtual ECUs for comprehensive cooperation with OEMs and suppliers.
  • ETAS COSYM is a powerful simulation and integration platform for testing and validating software in all phases of software development. ETAS COSYM helps to reduce costs and time by moving HiL tests forward to virtual simulation (MiL/SiL).
  • ETAS MODEL-SIMULATOR is a platform for parallel simulation, test execution and driving cycle generation. Allowing you to significantly increase the simulation speed, receive fast feedback and detect errors at an early stage – all while maintaining data security in according to ISO 27001.
  • ETAS RTA-CAR (Classic AUTOSAR) includes basic software modules and tools for the development of ECU software.
  • tracetronic ecu.test is a test and validation tool for highly automated functional and system testing of automotive embedded software Allowing you to intuitively create and automate test cases at all stages of development, even without prior knowledge of test automation and programming.
  • tracetronic test.guide is a test management tool with which you can organize, analyze, monitor, and manage your software testing from start to finish. It also provides a common basis for cross-role collaboration for all stakeholders involved.
