Key variable list

For big projects with thousands of signals it is difficult to ensure that all key signals are recorded by every experiment. To allow one single place to state these relevant signals, INCA provides a key variable list, which contains the signals to be recorded. The signals in this list are prioritized by the given sequence.

Each INCA project may own one or more key variable lists. If the project is assigned to an experiment, the key signals are automatically added in the default raster.

Exchange recorder configuration

The trigger on/off configurations are split to allow the user to set different durations for measurements running with trigger on or off. To share the trigger settings between multiple experiments, the trigger configuration can be exported and imported.

Multi-raster – Measurements are updated even when some rasters do not send data

INCA updates measurement values even when some raster do not send data. For example no signals are sent by the speed synchronous raster when the engine is stopped.

Resolution of IP address conflict of ETAS hardware

The user can resolve IP address conflicts of ETAS hardware by one mouse click. The user is able to reassign or to reset static IP address configuration of ETAS devices with the same IP address. INCA detects automatically the IP conflict and offers the user a dialog to re-assign devices.

Import of FlexRay data from AUTOSAR R4.1/R4.2 description file

INCA supports AUTOSAR compliant bus description files for FlexRay monitoring. INCA imports all FlexRay and CAN clusters from the respective AUTOSAR description file. The cluster descriptions are used to configure the connected FlexRay and CAN hardware.

Support of VN7610 hardware

The VN7610 is a USB to FlexRay/CAN/CAN FD hardware supplied by Vector Informatik. INCA V7.2 SP2 supports the following interfaces of the device:

  • 1 x FlexRay (Channel A and B) with 1082cap transceiver
  • 1 x CAN High-Speed / CAN-FD with 1051cap transceiver

INCA supports the VN7610 interfaces CAN/CAN FD and FlexRay in parallel using a FlexRay/CAN Y cable. INCA also supports the CAN FD features of the device.
